No. The historic centre is explored on foot and by water. Buses and road taxis end at Piazzale Roma; from there you walk, use an ACTV vaporetto or take a water taxi.
Usually not. A gondola ride is sightseeing on a fixed circuit, not ordinary public transport. For point-to-point travel use the vaporetto network or walk.
Yes, but a half-day tour allows only short stops. Public boats give more control if glassmaking, Burano’s streets or Torcello matters more than seeing all three names.
The historic centre has no city beach. The nearest well-known seaside area is on the Lido, reached by vaporetto; lagoon canals are not a substitute for a bathing beach.
Road buses run to Piazzale Roma, while Alilaguna services and private water taxis connect the airport dock with Venice and several islands. Check the final walk to your accommodation.
